reading other threads right now to see if it has been mentioned, i will tomorrow when I have more free time. But I can honestly say I have NEVER seen a
professional hockey team miss the net as much as I saw tonight! How does every shot miss the damn net! Every time we had the goalie beat we shot wide! And
speaking of offesne where the hell is it?? All we do in the PP is play in the corner. Why not go to the point and center hash marks? The goal is not in the
corners. Its in the middle of the ice! Get someone in the front of the net and aim there and pass point to point. Why dump it so much to the corners and lose
the damn puck everytime? Muscy is a great coach but when it comes to the offense and PP it has always sucked. Try something new Muscy I beg you!

You aren't the only that noticed the "One that ducks". We were talking about it at the game last night.
And Cajun. You are right on the money sweetie. And why the hell would you play
"Sweet Home Alabama" right after the LSU Tigers get beat by the Tide. Flamer would have NEVER done that. Is Delia still sitting up in the music booth
& helping with the selections??? If so; he needs to get out & try to figure out ways to keep people interested before everyone is gone.
And Flamer may NOT want to come back after he was treated the way he was. (Couldn't blame him) But at least tell this guy to play the kind of music Flamer was playing. And what the hell is going on when they sometimes DON'T even play any music during a stoppage in play??? These folks don't seem to UNDERSTAND that the guys playing on our team haven't EVEN heard of some of the songs they are playing. If they are expected to get fired up & stay fired up on the ice; PLEASE PLAY SOMETHING THEY WANT TO HEAR.
The music selections were NOT broken before this season. So why try fixing something that isn't broken??? You could be using that time in coming up with something else to keep people coming back. I had a few people that were coming from Bastrop to watch the games. After night before last & seeing how the atmosphere has changed; they are losing interest quick. They were asking us; "What happened to the good music"??? "GO BUGS. KICK SOME BRAHMA BUTT"

No No NO--people do not go to hockey games for the music. That is an absurd comment. People go for the action on the ice-oh wait a minute-nevermind.
All of you that were laughing before the season claiming people were making a big deal out of the music-well how's that going for ya now? Maybe those people did have an inkling of something when they were complaining? |

actually the starting music last nite started out great, no ballads with a bad video ( time was shortened i realize for the military honors ) but it
was music that was a little more pumped up than usual.....The main problem is the morons cant figure out WHEN to play the music. By the time they start
playin Slow Ride , ya hear the first three drum beats and play has already started. It is however a good time to get in a few extra loud "Ref you
suck" s in....

It is my understanding that the "music guy" in none other than GM Ray Delia.
Can anyone confirm/refute that for me?

FWIW, I'm glad they got some more professional presenters for the little games and things they do during and between periods, and I especially liked the guy they had on Friday night. Also, while I won't be there this weekend to back this up, what about getting a "Let's go Mudbugs" chant going during the "countdown to puckdrop" or whatever that is right before the game? It might be a nice thing to get the fans going early and show the team there's fans still in the stands. I thought about that last game during that time, but like I said, I won't be there this weekend to back the idea up. Just a thought, anyway.. |

Ray is the modulator of the music.
He does so from his laptop in the control room in Section 121. Now I will head home to watch "The Sound Of Music" (1965). |

modulator of the music? now thats funny....Delhi needs to go to a hockey game elsewhere sometime and see how its done. Now i will head home to watch Marvin
Martian on Bugs Bunny to see if he can get back his Illudium pew-36 Explosive Space Modulator.

Ray has been around. This is not his first time around hockey. However it seems his ego and power kick have him in trouble (and I say ego based on what Flamer
said he told him in another post/thread).
Tom for that matter has also been around hockey (albeit as a fan) long enough to know what is what. When you allow someone UNDER you to call the shots and have a free hand in things-and you hear the complaints and see the effects-it is time to yank control away and put it back where it belongs. It all started with a chant-grew into the music and videos. People-if something is not broken, you do not try to fix it. And if you do try to fix it and then break it, you hire someone who KNOWS what they are doing to make it right. Ya got to spend money to make money. And right now it seems even the RCG people are getting smudges on the glasses. |

there is that dead horse again. Tommy has made it pretty clear that he doesn't "hear" the problem. That is rather hard to believe, but again, I
don't have his "ears". I just like kick-@ss music played when I go to a game. Maybe, just maybe, if he still reads this board, he will pay a
little closer attention to the people that buy the season tickets. We are the bread and butter----
