I have noticed most people after we score don't know the chant---- they are saying "hey, you suck"--- the chant is supposed to be "SIEVE, you suck"--directing the you suck to the goalie---- When so many on here have said it doesn't make sense, it finally hit me what the problem is---most people don't know what we (section 109) are saying--- we are saying SIEVE, you suck----hence the collander, funnel, vacuum, black hole cheer--- I now understand a little bit why so many have been saying on here the chant doesn't make sense----------- they don't know the correct chant!!!!!!

the chant they're talking bout is the one that goes with the song, not the one after the music goes off

I have been hoping to get the cheer up on the jumbotron after the score. The one that goes with the music. People don't know that we're saying
"goalie, sieve." I'm not quite sure what they are saying.

AHHHH the Jumbotron...............another thing that is underused. Would be a great way to change - add chants. What happened to the movie clips we used to
show...........and the music they played when an opposing player went in the penalty box. So many things have gone by the wayside that used to add a little
"spice" to the hockey experience............

I, too, would like to see the Jumbotron used more creatively. Maybe Tommy Scott can get someone a little more computer saavy to get some good stuff on there.
Actually, I think "he" might be a little more computer saavy himself. I remember seeing some great stuff on other team's video board on Nifty
and wishing ours were better. I loved the videos of the players (guitar hero, etc) too.

Apparently you are one of the folks I am talking about that doesn't know the chant----I AM talking about the chant with the music------ when the music says
"hey", we (section 109) changed it to "sieve"---- you suck"---- over the years more and more people started doing the chant with us,
but--- they were going with the music and not with section 109 (the core group of 109 anyway)---- I guess others couldn't hear what we were saying and
assumed it was "hey--you suck" instead of the way we started the chant "sieve--you suck"

No matter what you say you are saying about the chant anything that says "you suck" that is directed toward a player is really low-class, and it
needs to stop. It is a disgrace that adults act like teenagers in High School at a hockey game saying disgusting chants and whoever does it should be ashamed
they are not being good role models. I tell my friends in Canada about theses chants and they are appalled people act like that at games.

funny-when I tell people that there are those that are offended by the word "SUCK", yet go and drink beer and drive-or cheer on fights-they laugh at

I'd tell my Canadian friends how we have a hockey team that lays down like a bunch of women every time that they make the playoffs. Now thats the real
tragedy and the reason attendance is down. The CHOKEBUGS.
