Just a few minutes ago Sterling's team, Port Huron, lost Game 7 of the Turner Cup in the IHL 3-2 to Fort Wayne.
In THREE OVERTIMES.
Sterling saved 57 of 60 shots.
And Fort Wayne had a 2-1 lead late. Port Huron scored a goal with only 52 seconds remaining in regulation off of an extra attacker. Port Huron was down 2-0 early in that game yet fought to tie it.
Could there be a more heartbreaking scenario for the guy?
And the fellow DIDN'T EVEN GET A STAR FOR THE GAME.

Now I will head home to watch "Should I Choose Poison Or A Pistol?"
