Good luck in finding another venue ready to play hockey by October!
So of this year's 17 teams the CHL will lose how m any? Austin? Corpus Christi? Youngstown? Did Texas or Odessa make enough to eke out another year? Both Amarillo and New Mexico failed to average 3,000 fans a night. Add in Rapid City. So, a 16 team league next season? maybe only 15? or 17 should Austin land in Allen, TX? With the PHPA coming in for the 2008-09 season I think we'll have a much different look & feel to the league by the 2010-11 season. And few if any of us here might care by that point!

Move 'em to Bouxmont(?), TX. They have a building ready for hockey.

Well, I will still be HERE in 2010---so I am sure I will care. What did you mean by that?

What I meant was that no one knows for certain the economic impact the PHPA will have on the CHL as a whole.
The future of the entire league could well hang in the balance.
