I know I have been bashed on this board MANY, MANY times. But there are some VERY obvious mistakes that have been made. I will start with York. Playing a
high caliber physical team in the first round. A team that has been known to be physical. With two injuries in the first game we now are playing with four
defensemen and one who has yet to see the ice since the regular season. How about size? It was PROVEN last season with us and in the NHL. We can't compete
with BIG teams-PERIOD! Buffalo was pulverized by Ottawa, then Ottawa was pulverized by the Ducks. Survival of the fittest. This is professional hockey.
Everyone in the league can play. When you have a team full of Muscutts you can't compete with the bigger, stronger, more physical teams like Texas or
Colorado. We have the smallest team on paper. Yeah, I know, look at the records. BUT where is the PRESIDENTS CUP? Everyone buys into Scotty's
"system" but here we are again, staring at early elimination in the first round. SCOTT MUSCUTT is a politician. Where are our AMATEURS???? AND
lastly, Texas has motivation to mop the ice with our butts. Cash, Manning, Minzy, Sheppard. They all played for Scott. I know they left here with a bad taste
in their mouths. This is where the "rose-colored"glasses come in. Fonger has his team MOTIVATED to whoop us, and they all have a very good reason.
This series is personal to the Brahamas. We lack the MOTIVATION and I believe that falls on Muscutts shoulders. As the nay-sayers said during our first
five-game skid, we lack the size and toughness to compete in this league. WE are the smallest team in the playoffs. We have all heard the political wrangling,
"we play 64 games to learn how to win 12." I'm still waiting.

Here You go agian!!! i agree with some of what u say but this isnt the time to start all the negative talk, its fans like u that make me sick. true fans are
fan throughout i bleed purple and teal, Muscutt has gave us a winning team time after time , not many coaches can say that, if we replaced him then who takes
the job You? i agree on one part we do need a few bigger stronger players, but speed is where we are getting beat by the bramahs, they are all over the ice. we
matched them well in the physical part of the game last night, so i dont see where getting all big guys can help. but then agian what do i know and who am i to
question pros, i understand ur disapointed we all are, and this isnt to Bash You, just i believe that we have to stand true to our teams, no matter what the
result , ive watched many pro teams come and go here in the bossier shreveport area, i dont want to lose our bugs and getting rid of muscutt and replaceing him
with someone who i dont know may cause us to go in a skid then we lose fair weather fans then the team, Thats all i have to say on the subject!!!

Again, amen rydercat! I support my team but i'ts darn disapointing to have a great season then choke in post season. I like the new banners hanging from
the rafters but i'd rather have"THE ONE".

Do you watch NASCAR? How good is a driver that leads the whole race until the last five or ten laps and then get passed by five cars at the end? Never takes
the checkered flag? How about boxing? Leading a bout until the 10th round and then getting KO'd? Never win a title or belt? I support my 'Bugs but I
also pay money and expect to see a better effort. I have a right, as a paying customer, to express my displeasure. You asked who could replace Muscutt? Look at
what Fonger has done in ONE year. He started fresh, brought in all new players, and they, in your HUMBLE opinion are faster than us. We started the season on a
five game skid and from the looks of it, we are going to end it on a four game skid. I don't want that, I will support them, but IT SUCKS!
Do we play 64 games to win the Govoners Cup or do we play 64 games so we can make the playoffs and win the Presidents Cup? Maybe I'm confused.

i do agree it sucks, my point i was trying to get across was when we won the 18 stright no one was calling for changes, we lose and now we need changes,
everyone has a intitled to thier opinion, weather i agree or not, lets just be consestant on our opinions, look at old post during the winning times. and how
can we blame the coach he isnt on the ice, the players are, and wildfong has done a great job> i wish that wasnt true but it is, Now I will say The Coaches
job is to find train and motivate the players so is Muscutt doing his Job? i think hes at 80% but thats my opinion. so what do you think?

I agree with everything Chevyman posted. And it is time for a change. Scotty has proven that he can put a winning team on the ice. But it's like he
doesn't know how to coach a team in when it comes to post-season play. And I'm NOT knocking on Scotty. He's a great person. But some coaches
don't know how to coach in the play-offs. That's a fact. It's been happening in the NHL for years. Why do you think some of the NHL coaches have
lost jobs. Because they have taken their team to the play-offs season after season; but lose in the play-offs. After a few seasons; there are some season
ticket holders that stop going. That's when there needs to be a change somewhere. That's just common sense telling a person that.

Given time and space in the regular season, we can score some goals. It won us a Govenor's Cup. Take away that time and space in the playoffs, and we go
from hero to zero. Be glad we aren't playing Mississipi, Fonger has just been taking it easy on us because he and Scotty are family.

Let's see, Scotty has been to the cup finals 3 times. He was only one goal way from a second cup. If anyone watches sports and not just Mudbugs hockey
they understand how hard it is to win a championship. Only 3 coaches have won a cup since the merge and one other to the finals and that is Scotty. Stewart
has only been to the finals
twice I guess that means he doesn't know how to coach every other year. Scotty has proven he can win in the playoffs. Winning a championship requires a lot of bounces to go your way. For three years every bounce went the Bugs way. Now there not. That is pro sports. There is no guarentee when you switch coaches. There are only 2 coaches in this league with a better playoff record than Scotty and neither one is leaving for Shreveport. So let's get rid of the coach with the third best playoff record in the league. Letting uneducated fans pick and choose coaches is the quickest way to kill a sports program. This not Delighted fan but her husband. |

We had time and space during the regular season. Now the pressure has been turned up a notch and things are a little tougher now that the extra space has been
taken away and players are defending each other a lot closer.
