Just got home from the Battlewings victory and some friends are asking what was the mudbugs announcement on facebook. Can someone tell me good news, I missed
it also.

no, they were asking like maybe they thought there was supposed to be an announcement.

The news up here in Toronto is that the deal to buy the Bugs has fell through and the team will not play in 09-10, but hope to return in 10-11 if a buyer
can be found

But I do know one thing. For some reason I just don't have a good feeling about things at this point. I'm hoping for the best. But I'm not getting my hopes up at this point. I did feel pretty good about things at 1st; but it's been so many different stories coming from the news, The Times & then from Ray Delia. I just don't think our Bugs are going to hit the ice this Oct. I just hope I'm really WRONG about this.

Correct me if I'm wrong, and I'm sure someone will. There has been nothing on the CHL website about the Mudbugs possibly being sold or going dark next
season. I guess it goes back to the conspiracy theory!!!!

 And a bunch of letter writing; also.
But no. There has been nothing on the CHL site about the team being sold or that they won't play next season. The only things for certain are the things you see from what Ray Delia has said to the Times. The rest of the stuff is nothing more than other fan's opinions, or things they say they have heard & of course our friendly little visit from an impostor posing as John Madden. Screen name, avatar pic. You name it. They had it. Would have been nice to see who it was. And then maybe a few of our fans could have taken him out behind the woodshed. Just to let him to know it's wrong to do stuff like that. Especially when it's got something to do with our MUDBUGS.

If you read this post; you can go back to another thread & see where he said the news up in Toronto was that the Bugs had found owners & they were going to be making an announcement & then he said he hoped everyone enjoyed the season. I do believe that's the reason BugzFan said this guy lives in La. And I'd say he's just posting this nonsense. And Dogger; it's not that we don't want fans coming on here even it's with rumors they have heard. But there is a difference from rumors & just posting a bunch of crap like bugs2008 did. I mean come on. EVERYONE knows what he's doing. So people were dinging on him for a reason. Only because they recognized it as
