Seriously, these guys are confined in small cells, some for the rest of their lives. I highly doubt a PS3 is going to give them all enternal happiness.

Seriously, why should they have ANY rights of a normal individual? These are crimes that have taken life away or in the case of rape, seriously damaged
someones life. Why should criminals/murderers get to sit around and play games? I could give a rat's rear if they are bored. I guess jail is where you go
so you can live off of society and have fun doing it. Great! Sign me up.
I'll tell you what is an outrage to me...the people that let their chihuahua run the roads until it was finally killed tonight. The dog had been brought to their door on numerous occasions, by several different people. Ah well, getting off my own soapbox. Poor critter...Animals, children and the elderly..they can't take care of themselves. (sorry to be off subject, but it just made me sick to find the dog)

when I saw the title of this thread I thought it would be because the Methodists held true and voted down gays in the church and same sex marriages!
But come on--PlayStations in prison? How about we serve them gourmet dinners and all the ice cream they can eat as well. These cretins are in prison-yet they complain about rights? How about the rights of the people whose lives they damaged or ended? I say put the rapists in a cell with 3 of the biggest baddest most foul smelling guys they can find and then walk away-don't leave no vasiline either-just a gag and a pair of handcuffs. Murderers should be placed in the worst cell there and forced to work from sun-up to sun down-out in the fields. Have them dig deep ditches and then fill it up again-make them wear pink jumpsuits-shoes with no arch supports-no gloves-no hats. Make life miserable for them-they have no rights IMO. Why sould they have rights of any kind-they get meals and a spot to sleep-they have medical and dental if they need it-they have clothes-heat in the winter and air in the summer. And my tax dollars pay for it?

I would be willing to bet that the number of railroaded people are far fewer than those that skate on technicalities.
And if a cop-lawyer-judge is found to have railroaded someone-they should serve the remainder of the victims hard time--like the Duke issue--that ex-DA should be serving all the time those he went after would have served. With all the technology of today-I wonder just how many innocent people are convicted of crimes they did not commit as compared to 10-15 yrs ago? Have seen several rape cases overturned due to new DNA testing-and I think those people should be taken care of first (careers-marriages-reputations-finances-all ruined).
