Congrats on a good season Stars...in Jan/Feb you were contending for the best record in the league, then failed to even win your division and end up a #5 seed.
You followed up a strong season by knocking off 2 very good teams in Anaheim and San Jose and had home ice against neither one. Unfortunately for you, this
is not the same Red Wings team that has been known to take the first round of the playoffs off. Once Hasek was pulled, the entire demeanor of the team
changed. I take a public vow to never refer to him as "Osbad" again! Leave the ice after game 4 as Colorado did, with dignity and class, don't
try to goon it up just to extend the series and get somebody hurt. If you win game 4 playing Stars hockey, good on ya, but you're already a dead team
skating. Now it is time to head off to the golf course.

Robidas has been an "F" in this series.
Tonight the guy cost 'em two or three goals. His d-corps colleagues haven't helped, either. And Dallas's second and third lines have been atrocious in this series. Detroit's d-corps is murdering Dallas's d-corps. |

And what sweet justice that after "dirty" marty gets a penalty drawn on Holstrom that Zetterberg skates in on a shorty and
waits.....waits.......waits.........then makes him look like a fool when he scores as he's sitting on his A$$.......that cracked me

As for "older" players, take Cheli and Dom out of the equation and they're average age drops about 15 years. Lidstrom plays a style that will
allow him to play as long as he wants to. After that, the key contributers are hardly elder statesmen. Helms has been VERY productive, this kid Abdelkader
(sp) out of Muskegon Mona Shores and Michigan State has all the tools to be something special. The core of this team is actually just entering their prime.
