Just curious how it was determined the bucks were the second best team? In the south I would agree, but in the league? I don't think that statement can be justified. Didn't the bucks have a losing season vs the north?

Boobie is scrambling for some way to save face here in the Swamp. It is pitiful but if it makes him happy, let him yap. Doesn't bother me.

Someone made the remark to me after the first couple of finals games.....that Arizona was coming into the series much more physically ready since the games with Laredo didn't take much out them while Colorado battled for their wins. While that may be true, I also believe that Colorado wasn't really the best the North had to offer this year. Arizona was, no doubt in my mind, the top of the South.

What was Laredo's record vs the North this year? Arizona did what Laredo has failed to do and that is sweep someone in the finals.
Ariz is definatley the best team in the league this year-does that make the south the strongest-I don't think so-it was one series. Let's look at the overall picture:
Laredo was 7-9-1 vs the north
Ariz was 10-4-3 (Northwest only)
Aus 6-11-0
AMA 8-10-3
CC-3-10-2
NM 5-6-1
ODE was 6-8-3
RGV was 0-12-0

that is 45-70-13

the North:
BOS was 11-2-0
Col 18-5-3
Miss 3-4-1
OKC 5-4-0
RMR 12-7-4
TX 16-3-0
TUL 7-2-1
WIC 3-7-1
YTWN 10-1-1

that is 85-35-11
someone please check my math on this, but it looks like even if you add the 4 game sweep of the Eagles-the North looks a little tougher vs the South.
One team in the south had a winning record vs the North while 2 teams in the North had losing records vs the south. How does that spin out booby?

Brent Cullaton was recalled on November 11th, we didn't get him back until January 11th, three months later.

That's 2 months on the dot, my 19 month old can do that simple math.

But they also took Steve Weidlich on December 30th, and we didn't get him back until January 23rd. Those two (Cullaton and Weidlich) were gone for a long time.

Cullaton was gone for 2 months, but Weidlech only missed about 6 games. there was an all star break mixed in there when weidlich was gone.

Also, the only reason we got Cullaton back anyway was because the Rampage didn't make the playoffs (correct me if I'm wrong), had the Rampage been in the playoffs, we would have never got Cullaton back. I can't talk about Arizona's affiliation with the Rampage but I never liked it down here.

Did the Rampage get knocked out of playoff contention before January 11th? maybe those 2 months he was there is the reason they were knocked out of contention early???

Gals, you can't deny the fact that the south swept the north in the finals, its over give it up and accept reality. You gals have a difficult time accepting it which is the icing on the cake, season after season. The south swept the north, its over, you lost again. No more crow to give out.

I was never too good at math, thank you for correcting me. And I didn't remember that Weidlich had only missed 6 games, I had gone by the dates, and not the games in between the dates, I forgot about the All-Star Break.
