Okay now you have hurt my feelings comparing me to BobKitty. Let me just say the only reason I started posting on this board, I think it was when Chewy
announced he was leaving I was so discouarged with this news and I just wanted to see what everyone else thought.
I have to say that as a business owner who has supported this team from day one both with corporate money and time, and parts of my life I find it insulting that I am asked to give my money and my time, get to know these kids, help them in their lives, but then at the same time not have an opinion on how things are going. When you get to know these young players, so far from home, and they come to you and tell you the things that have happened to them, why would you not believe them and feel for them...... They cannot all be lying. We have had some great kids come through here , it is just a shame that so many have left on less than good terms. There are alot of folks that are personally involved with the team as I have been in the past and it is just insulting to be told to go away, shut up, you are an ***hole, etc.
So guess what, it is your fight to lose. I will not comment, I will retire my user name at this point as I am sure someone else will need it soon.
But.... do not call me looking for money and help because you will not be receptive to what I have to say.
Chewy was and he is now gone so what does that tell you.
Just all of you remember a hockey team in Bossier is a tenuous thing. It should be handled with much care and not treated like an elitest experience. Then only the elite will be able to participate. It takes all of us to make this thing work. Even the ones who don't agree with you.
