Frankie is in surgery now--should take about 2 hours- His dad told me that yesterday when they were doing his blood work they had trouble sticking him and he told his doctor that it was taking too long just give me my kidney so I can go home!
I am going to call around 12 they should be done and he should be in recovery or at least in picu - Phillip's surgery went well as far as I know - keep praying

The family left today for New Orleans- the surgery will be at 7 or 10 they didn't know for sure the last time I talked to them.
I will call tomorrow to find out. Thank you all for the prayers.

Phillip Berry has done his Mother's Day shopping. Wow...not many people would do that for someone, let alone someone else's family. God bless this group as they prepare for the coming days.

RN's mom has made very slow but steady progress back towards "stable" condition. Still in real danger but God is good and we trust in Him.

I love my little Frankie, he is such a badness, lol, and I am so thankful that he is getting a kidney (but I'm not sure if I want to babysit anymore, they say he will become more active, yikes! ) . He has been through a lot in his short life, and still manages to have lots of fun and get into lots of trouble.

His dad, Gorden, has been a big part of my life since I was a little girl and I know...

Thanks Belle-- in addition to Frankie they have a almost 3 year old Carleigh and a 5month old Bren-- they have their hands full- but handle it well- they have family and friend support- and of course lots of Faith.

On Tuesday May 13th- 5 year old Frank James Reger will have a kidney transplant-
His dad runs the dairy at La tech- Please add them in your prayers- the 28 year old man who is donating his kidney is a frat. brother of Gorden- the father- keep him in you prayers also- that is a very wonderful thing he is doing for this child.
I know what this couple goes through every night hooking Frankie up to home dialysis
all the medicine he takes- and my heart goes out to them-- but they...
